skills, and to network with other artists
• Reliable payment for services
• Stipends for professional development

Performing artists set their own fees; residency/workshop artists have a standard fee per

Casting for Short Film

Hey there actor-people, Bryan here. We're about to start shooting an epic (46 page) short
revenge-comedy film entitled LET'S BURY THE HATCHET! (DEEP IN YOUR FACE) and I suddenly find myself having to fill some key roles that have opened up.

This movie has about 15 lead roles; it's the story of Vic Craven, a raging beast of a
man, who seeks revenge on a local theater director for a perceived slight toward his
(Vic's) daughter. Vic enlists a team of half-ass secret agents to enact his crazy plot.
Since there are two days of shooting where we have almost all the actors in a single
scene, it's been very very hard to align availability... and a couple actors have had to
drop out as a result.

This posting is for the role of Susie Craven, our main character's teenage daughter.

Susie is "going through a phase", dabbling in transcendental mediation but mainly listening to a lot
of punk rock and getting piercings.

I'm looking for a teenage girl who looks punk rock and can exude that apathetic-punk
attitude. Shaved head a big plus, but any punk hairstyle would be great. Tattoos and
piercings are big pluses as well.

NO PAY for this role unfortunately (or for any of the roles); it's that sort of uber
low-budget production. It is, however, a crazy-unique project with a lot of fun scenes,
and you'll have great fodder for your reel if you take this on.

NOTE: You must have the following availability for this role...

(1) Shooting time on 1 of the following days: the evening of Friday 10/5 or anytime on
Saturday 10/6
(2) A few hours of availability in the afternoon/evening on Friday 10/12 and Saturday
10/13
(3) One hour of availability on Friday 10/26 or Saturday 10/27
(4) A few hours of availability for the pickup days, Saturday 11/3 and Sunday 11/4

The full script is available upon request. Below are links to Rich Cashin's reel (he will
be playing the main character, Susie's father Vic) as well as a link to the previous no-
budget short we did, a link to a teaser for a short film to be released on Halloween, and
a link to the trailer for my sci-fi feature film (which is in post-production now).
