Talent for Stock Footage Shoot (Portland)
Demand Media Studios (www.demandstudios.com) is an online studio, working with creative freelancers around the country to produces videos, text and more for our network of websites. We have an immediate need for talent to shoot high-quality stock footage projects. We are looking for people who can realistically act out everyday life situations and are comfortable in front of the camera.

Actor and Actress for Short Student Film (Oregon city)
We're looking for two attractive. mid-20's actor and actress for lead roles in a student film. No dialog will be required for this role, but if you are able to 'follow' in a tango dance, that would be choice as the ending scene another character will be dancing with you. Although its not a major deal if you have no tango experience, as we will have a coach on set. There wont be anything too elaborate for the shot anyway. It will be mostly in slow motion so movements wouldnt have to look perfect
A good wardrobe would be helpful, as we'll probably be needing actors to supply their own--
Female Happy-go-lucky, innocent, upbeat character: should wear a sun dress, light, warm colors such as yellow.
Male: Charming but simple. Wears greys and neutral tones, preferably something dressy.
the story follows to girls in attempt to gain the attention of a man who is walking in there part of the woods. Virtually everything in this we will be doing as visually pleasing as possible!
The shoot will be in the next two weeks, and filming will take place on the Clackamas Community College Oregon City campus. Should be 1 day shoot (6-7 hours tops). For further details/questions just shoot us an email, and we will also let you know the audition date/location.

Auditions for HMS Pinafore at Alpenrose Dairy Opera House
Gilbert & Sullivan aficionados, rejoice! (But with modified rapture, please!) The Dairyville Players, consisting, for the time being, of Dennis Britten, Paul Roder, and Karen Roder, invite you to audition for a condensed version of "HMS Pinafore", to be performed at the Alpenrose Dairy Opera House in late June.
The audition dates are:
Tuesday, March 20, 7-9PM Bethel Congregational Church, 6th& Watson, Beaverton
Sunday March 25, 3-5PM, Beaverton Resource Center, Allen & Hall, Beaverton
Performance dates are Saturdays, 2PM, June 23,24,30 & Jul 1.
If you plan to attend the audition on the 20th you must bring a standard ballad (like Rogers & Hammerstein or G&S) to sing about 16 bars and cold read from our script. If auditioning on the 25th either first time or call back, you will sing a short section of Pinafore with our recorded accomp and cold read.
Sorry to say, there is no pay for anyone involved.There is a lot of fun in store and a chance to get in on something new.
